SmartMail - Browze case study

Browze are a world leading "factory to consumer" brand with 150K+ customers and 7K+ products.

The Challenge

After restructuring their business model from post Covid supply chain issues, Browze decided it was time to do a complete rebrand. With limited resources and time, Browze partnered with SmartMail to revamp their email marketing strategy, with a specific focus on maximizing list growth and leveraging new subscribers.

What We Implemented

After a deep dive into the new branding approach and how Browze interacts with its customer base, SmartMail created custom site overlays targeting new users and a triggered Welcome Sequence to grow the list and engage with new subscribers. 

 

Individual popups were optimized for Mobile and Desktop, ensuring a smooth UX and aligning with Google guidelines for interstitial algorithm considerations. 

Browze saw immediate success with submission rates to the popups skyrocketing – as high as 13.7% consistently, far above industry standard conversion rates. 

 

Browze also saw unprecedented engagement with the Welcome Sequence emails, with a 35% open rate, a 7.6% conversion rate – and an average of $1.30+ of revenue earned per recipient.
